PIETERSITE is a stone also known by the trade name “ TEMPEST STONE or EAGLES 🦅 EYE “. It is a form of Chalcedony that contains embedded, fragmented fibers of amphibole minerals like crocidolite the same mineral found in tigers 🐅 eye and hawks eye. The primary sources of PIETERSITE stones are limited to NAMIBIA 🇳🇦 and the HENAN Province of CHINA making it relatively rare gemstone.
